Electrochemical Deburring (ECD) meets the needs for deburring small automotive components because it has short cycle times, can deburr multiple parts at the same time, and is a reliable automatic process. Gasoline fuel systems components, armatures, airbag diffusers are examples of components requiring the positive deburring of multiple holes, which are being successfully produced with ECD. Other ECD applications include gear teeth and joint faces and locking slots in forged connecting rods.
